UPDATE: We are announcing plans to breed Celah this winter.  We will be adding her pedigree, and OFA certificate to this site in the near future.  She has an absolutly wonderful temperament.  That is a very important trait to us in our breeding.  Celah has her CGC (Canine Good Citizen).  She is obedient and intelligent.  Please contact us if you are interested in having a beauceron become a part of your family.

Our last litter of Beauceron Puppies are now a year old!

Sammie and Anis are the proud parents of six newborn puppies, born November 6th, 2008.  This has been a very special litter for us.  Both parents have wonderful temperaments and excellent working bloodlines, with Champions in both.  These puppies are exceptional dogs.

Sammie was bred with Anis du Domaine des Gardiens de la Vallee from her original kennel, Cedarhurst, in Ontario, Canada.  You can view Anis' pedigree and we have also posted Saimaa’s pedigree.

We have placed all of the puppies in good homes. Our dogs live with us and are a part of our family.  We have placed the puppies in homes that we feel are similar to ours where they will receive training and love and lots of attention. A beauceron thrives on interaction with people.

Beauceron Tradition

An interesting tradition in beauceron history is that each year, all the puppies that are born have names that begin with the same letter. This year, 2008, names begin with the letter D.  This pattern does not have to be followed, but it is the traditional way.  Last year, names began with C, and next year, it will be E.  I personally favor this.  Some breeders name their litters before they are sold.
