We are planning to have a new litter of Beauceron puppies! We plan to breed our Celah this winter. The puppies will be available this Spring! We have already had several inquiries, so if you have an interest in one of our puppies, please contact us. We will be happy to talk to you in detail about the parents, the Beauceron breed, and the puppies.
We have another female named Saimaa du Cedarhurst, pictured in all three of the pictures in the header of our site, whom we call Sammie. We did not get Sammie as a puppy. Her original owner was transferred to another state with his job and could not continue to keep her. We were referred by our vet to Sammie’s owner because we also had a Beauceron. Sammie became attached to us and part of the family immediately. She is faithful, gentle, and intelligent.
Beaucerons Accepted in AKCThe Beaucerons were accepted in the American Kennel Club (AKC) in March of 2007. I had the privilege of going to Pennsylvania in July 2007 with my two females to an AKC judges seminar. The judges were being instructed on how to evaluate different breeds, and the Beauceron was one of them since they had just been accepted. I met other Beauceron owners and learned a lot myself. I also had the privilege of meeting Claudia Batson, who gave the lecture to the judges on the Beauceron. Claudia is one of America’s top experts on the Beauceron. She fell in love with Sammie. Claudia still stays in touch and is a wealth of information. The Beauceron can look formidable and in the society we live in, it is not unwise to have a dog that will alert you to someone arriving at your home and also have a look and stance that will deter any unwanted guests. The Beauceron is not a large dog compared to a Great Dane, a Mastiff, or Newfoundland. We like having a dog that gives a confident impression yet is not overly large. We are just very satisfied with every attribute of the Beauceron.

Our life with Beaucerons began while searching on the internet for a new puppy for our family. We were looking at many different kinds of dogs, and came across some pictures of the Beauceron. We were so impressed. We tried to find every site we could to see more pictures and learn more about the breed. The more we investigated the more we knew that a Beauceron puppy was what we wanted. We found a litter on the internet and we purchased our first Beauceron puppy, Celah. We have never been disappointed in our choice.
